A practical five-point rollout
The five-pack is built for businesses that need more than a single counter prompt: several service areas in one building, five teams with distinct customer handoffs, or a small multi-location rollout. It provides enough coverage to standardize the experience while remaining a straightforward self-service order.
Start with the real moments when customers finish an experience. List those moments, rank them by traffic, and assign one stand to each of the top five. A thoughtful placement plan is more useful than scattering stands wherever counter space happens to be open.
For one or three placements, compare the single stand and three-pack. For ten or more units, preconfiguration, mixed branding, or split shipping, review the bulk ordering guide.
Keep the experience consistent across locations
Give every stand an internal name, assigned location, intended review destination, and responsible owner. Test NFC and QR on representative phones before launch and again whenever a destination changes. This simple device register reduces setup mistakes and makes it clear which physical unit belongs at each location.
Consistency also applies to the request. Train every team to use the same neutral language and give customers a genuine choice. The stand should shorten the path to feedback, not pressure someone to post.
Plain and custom-logo options
Choose black or white stands in the standard WhyILike design or with your custom logo. Plain stands work well for a fast operational rollout. Custom-logo stands create a more brand-consistent display across public-facing locations.
Vector artwork is preferred for custom orders, and a high-resolution PNG is accepted. A proof normally arrives within three business days, with one revision included. Check spelling, color, placement, and the correct logo before approval; changes are not available after the proof is approved.

What customers do at the stand
Each stand combines passive NFC with a printed QR code. A compatible phone can tap the stand, or a customer can scan the QR code with the camera. Both paths open a managed WhyILike link connected to the destination selected by the account owner.
No WhyILike app is required for the customer. The stand does not choose a rating, write a review, or submit anything. It gives the customer a shorter path while leaving the decision and message entirely in their control.
Hardware first, software only if needed
The five-pack includes free WhyILike link management and does not require a paid software plan. Optional software is available for teams that later need broader analytics, monitoring, response, follow-up, or multi-location management tools.
The practical sequence is to map and deploy the hardware first, establish a consistent staff habit, and evaluate software against a specific operating need. Learn more on the no-required-subscription guide.
Shipping, returns, and warranty for a rollout order
WhyILike ships stands within the contiguous United States. Plain stands normally leave within two business days. Custom-logo stands normally leave within five business days after proof approval. Carrier transit is additional.
Undamaged noncustom stands may be returned within 30 days, with customer-paid return postage and a refund after receipt and inspection. Custom products are nonreturnable except for a confirmed defect, transit damage, or WhyILike production error.
Each stand carries a three-year replacement warranty for covered physical damage or NFC failure. Replacement—not a cash refund—is the warranty remedy. Loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized modification, cosmetic wear, harsh-chemical damage, and failures controlled solely by third-party devices or services are excluded.
When inviting reviews, avoid incentives, rating requests, suggested wording, and selective requests. A clear script is: “If you’d like to share an honest review, you can tap or scan here.”
